People who have Lou Gehrig’s disease, (ALS), CVA (stroke), Cystic Fibrosis, throat or mouth cancer are often unable to consume enough calories to meet their nutritional needs. Many people have to receive all or part of their nutrition through a tube (G-Tube, PEG, G-J tube, or jejunostomy tube. Feedings require a significant change in an individuals independence. Feeding pumps require batteries, and bolus feedings are difficult for a person to do by themselves. The Self Tube Feeder uses gravity to deliver the food to the stomach or intestine. The Self Tube Feeder is compact, lightweight and comes apart for easy storage and cleaning.
